I turned 22. Yay! I celebrated with my wonderful family and team. Perks of being in a creative tribe, I received so many creative presents. Someone gave me a spoken word, art, etc. My friend Lacie painted a beautiful color portrait of me. I loved it!

LET’S TALK PROPHETIC

From a young age I’ve been writing stories, art, and journaling. I just love doing these things. These were all expression of who I am as a person, who God created me to be. However I’ve held back from sharing because of perfectionism. Yup, it’s real and a huge killer in creativity. Now I’m over that. PTL! I’m taking risk being open to share my creativity.

I have to say my mentor’s e-course has really helped me break free from perfectionism and fear in my creativity. So I hope you enjoy this life update from me.

So I am very prophetic in nature. This is one of my muscles I’ve been training since I started in 1st year of school. As I look back, I recall walking up to people in class and sharing prophetic words. Most of the students I didn’t know and met for the first time. I did this quite regularly and didn’t think much of it. 

Fast forward now I’m in 3rd year. It is the last year of this amazing school. I had students that would just come up to me saying how a prophetic word I gave a while back really impacted him/her. I sometimes have a hard time remembering people because I do this often. Anyone can relate?

I was at my favorite coffee shop in Redding, Theory Collaborative. I was doing some school work when a friend greeted me. He was an acquaintance. As he was leaving, I told him I had a prophetic word for him. I asked the Holy Spirit what he wanted to share and I was so amazed by the following! I gave him a prophetic word that revealed several recurring dreams that he had last year. He told me he forgot about this dream until I gave him the word. This was amazing and it’s all God’s doing! 

As I am writing this I am reminded of the small things I steward the previous year. I know that this word is special and it’s personally an upgrade in my prophetic. What a great way to start 2021! God is entrusting me more with words that carry more weight and accuracy. He has seen my faithfulness.

I tell this story to celebrate what God is doing in my life but also to tie it with a teaching in how you can steward your prophetic gift. 

-Always ask for feedback. 

A lot of people give prophetic words but seldom get feedback. Let them share how it impacted them. Maybe it resonates, maybe it’s totally off the charts, either way it’s good to hear from the person. One of the ways you know how you are doing by hearing their comments. 

From my story above, I only knew that I was sharing about his dream when he gave me feedback. If I hadn’t asked I wouldn’t have known how my word resonated and was speaking deeply to him.

Can I encourage you today to step out and give someone a prophetic word? 

Take a risk and see what happens. God can use you to speak life and encouragement to someone around you. Ask God who you can speak to today and don’t forget to ask for feedback. I would love to hear how it goes for you if you decided to do this.

FACES OF REDDING

One of my greatest joy is leading my city service Faces Of Redding. You might be wondering what is this??

We are an international team of creative that use our gift to give back to our city. My team consist portrait artist, photographers, videographers and writers. We bring honor to those who have served Redding. The goal is to share their story and celebrate them for how they have possibly impact Redding. We will be having an event in March at the city hall. We are in the process of busy preparing for this.

God has bless me so much! My team is so loving and amazing. It’s sad we have to meet majority of the time on zoom but it works. I was hand picked by my mentor to be part of this and I love it. Using my talents of social media, event management and writing. My team interview people and get to know their story. I’m so happy that our trailer just launched. JESUS

If you have read my blog above and don’t know Jesus I want to tell you about him.

Do you know Jesus? Like do you really know him? 

Do you know how he loves you deeply and wants to have a personal relationship with you? 

Do you know that when he looks at you he smiles with a loving embrace?

He is not mad, angry or tired of you. The world paints this false narrative of an angry and condemning God. The truth is that he loves you, like a father that loves his son or daughter. He sees your pain and wants to give you a loving embrace and comfort. He wants to heal you of your pain, trauma and disappointments in life. 

Jesus saved me from suicide, depression and countless other things I tried to fill my life with. Yes, everything I did was temporarily and always disappointing at the end. Only Jesus can satisfy the longing of our hearts. This world is in chaos longing for something greater. Jesus is the answer and cure.

With his nail pierced hand and brutal crucifixion he thought of you and me. He died so that we could be set free from sin and evil. He rose up from the great victory defeating death and sin. He wants to have a personal relationship with you. 

The world can’t bring us peace only Jesus can.
The world can’t bring us hope, only Jesus can. 

Lastly, the world can’t bring us joy only Jesus can.

Life update: BSSM Year 2

Hello friends!!!

I’m back with an update in all that has been happening in my life. It’s so good to be back in Redding. My second year of BSSM has just started. I AM REALLY LOVING IT! So thankful that God has brought me back here.

I am constantly taking notes in class with the revelation and insight that is being poured out by our leaders~ it’s so rich!! Papa Bill and Kris are completely speaking to us at a completely different level compared to the 1st year. The second-year is heavily focused on leadership. Although we are students in class, we are seen as leaders. What I’m also love is hearing testimonies from our new leaders. They set the stage for transparency for us to really know them. I find this so important. They share thoughts, struggles and things they have or are walking through. The barrier is completely torn down between us. It really gives insight that they are all just like me on a journey with God. I laughed a lot and cried in these sessions. I am in Jamila Page’s Revival group this year. I’m so excited to learn, serve and grow with her RG.

We are stepping into a special invitation as a class by Papa Bill. We are believing to see the move of God at an new and unprecedented level. (The tangible presence, glory, and weight in the room. God showing up in worship etc.) There is no way to limit what God can do!! I’m so excited about this scared and holy experiences we get to experience as a class. Papa Bill is training and equipping us to the best of our ability to be good stewards of the presence. 

I’m recently became a founding member of a running club alongside my dad. WHOOT WHOOT! It’s called Kingdom Running Club. This started last year with a few of us running weekly together. Now we have a running club in place for the BSSM community. We are a big family hosting students from all over the world! Health is important and so much fun when done with friends. Can I get a amen??

This year I will go on ministry trips!! As students, we are each given 21 days to travel throughout the school year. I will be able to follow, learn and serve Bethel leaders. I will end with an amazing testimony.

Last week over 100 students in 1st year gave their lives to Jesus!! They all got baptized during class in front of 1,200+ students. Take a closer look at the picture above to see the joy and glory in the big room. (We did not have this last year so this is something completely new!) Praise God!!

I want to bring you on my journey with me and share the goodness of God.

Prophetic Insight for Hong Kong

I hear the Spirit say over Hong Kong “The Lion of Judah is roaring! The Lion of Judah is roaring!” It’s the roar of justice and righteous over the land. It is a roar of authority and rulership. He has not forgotten his people. He is in control of the situation.

There is a war in the heavenly realms over the destiny of Hong Kong. This tension Hong Kong has with China is unlike anything we have seen or heard in the past. It was at first a peaceful protest on July 1st, but then it quickly escalated. The issue is of the controversial bill (which would have allowed extraditions to mainland China). The Hong Kong people are fighting for freedom and of a democratic government. While this is still on going, I believe this will do several things in the process:

1. It will strengthen and fortified the body of Christ. I strongly believe that Jesus is rallying the body of Christ to stand in unity in a stronger measure. He has put it in the hearts of many leaders and pastors to go deeper to seek the Lord at this time.
2. More wisdom and insight will be release into the hearts of many people. The song “Sing Hallelujah To The Lord” was the unofficial anthem of the protest. Both believers and non-believers united in singing this anthem. Jesus has given wisdom and guidance to many believer to use worship is a way and a strategic tool of warfare.
3. People will turn to God with a heart of repentance. This is the good news! In the time of unrest, uncertainty and chaos many will choose to turn to Jesus because he is the Prince of Peace. They will receive him into their hearts and become a new creation.
4. Changes in the government will be made. The courts of Heaven control the destiny of Hong Kong. As Psalm 22:28 writes, “For the kingdom is the LORD’S And He rules over the nations.”

Hong Kong To Freedom!

There was a protest that happened at the Hong Kong International Airport. Someone got creative and changed one of the gate info. I found this picture prophetic. The gate number 77 carries a great significance! In the bible, the number seven represents perfection, fullness, and completion. Hong Kong is going to take of into a new phase.

I believe that God is going to pour out a greater measure of his glory all over Asia. There will be signs, wonders and healing. These are all powerful demonstration of the Holy Spirit. The glory of God will be seen in unprecedented ways beyond our imagination. There will be no words to describe the holiness, awe, and majesty of King Jesus! Please join me in prayer for Hong Kong. Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so glad you stop by this page. My name is Kirby. This blog is a place where I share my heart, journey and all that I hear from Jesus. I’m called as a prophet and this is a platform for me to release all that I’m hearing from Jesus. I love walking in the supernatural with Holy Spirit.

I’m also a prophetic artist. I love to create in the presence with the Holy Spirit. I started my prophetic art journey last year and I have to say it’s just been an amazing. I will share more about my journey and videos to come soon!

More about my background: I’m born in Hong Kong and raised in Macau and Malaysia. I’m currently a 2nd year student at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) in Redding, CA.

It’s time for UPGRADE!

Testimony Time! It’s time for UPGRADE 
I’m back with a powerful testimony from Macau. My brother went off to visit his friends in Korea while my family was in Macau. A few days before his arrival, I prayed for our hotel room to be upgraded. I just asked Jesus please upgrade our room.

It’s small, four adults, sharing one room.
I simply asked Jesus and believed it by faith.

WE GOT AN UPGRADE to the superior king suite for FREE!

It happened through a smoking incident.

Stay Strong, Macau

Macau has a special place in my heart. With the recent catastrophic typhoon Hato in Macau, I thought I would share with your perspective on this event. Typhoo Hato was recorded the hardest hit Macau faced in 50 years. While I was in Malaysia, my dad was in Macau when this all happened. I saw footage all over social media throughout the week on what was taking place. The videos went viral. The huge trees that seem a decade old were completely uprooted! The flood on the streets was so high and dangerous. People’s homes were damaged and wrecked so badly. The window was completely blown into pieces leaving them open and vulnerable to the typhoon. It was unbelievable, and my heart was broken and grieving for my home. But with this darkness and distress, I saw a light that is shining over my city like never people.

1. We are stronger as a community

There has never been before a closer community in Macau. People are coming together with one common goal in restoring Macau. This beautiful city that is my home. It’s the first time that we have seen the People’s Liberation Army. They have been around since the Macau Handover to China in 1999. I mean it makes me think, where were this army all along? It also reminds me that the army was trained for a time such as this. I see the policeman and firefighter bravely and boldly doing their duties day and night.

I see neighbors, friends, families coming together in clean-ups all over Macau. There have been cleanups organized by Mana Vida, who is a local fitness organization. They have been proactive in organizing clean ups all over Macau. Macau Eco Trailhiker organized a cleanup on the trails in Coloane. Blissful Carrot’s, which is my favorite vegan place was offering up bottles of water for those who were still in shortage. We are all doing what we can to restore Macau.

2. Cultivating Gratitude

Macau had power and water shortages all over. This event can teach us to be thankful for what we have. Our family, food, shelter, electricity, the list goes on. We can appreciate all the resources that we have living in the city.

3. Environmental Awareness

Before Typhoon Hato hit Macau, I saw this picture on Facebook of the Hac-Sa Beach. My eyes were opened by the trash that was washed up on the shore. It was so ugly and the worst part was that some people would need to get baptized there!! This made me realize that it was many people’s plastic trail that we needed to clean up. I only got this awareness from watching this movie called “A Plastic Ocean” on Netflix. (Movie will be linked below.) I highly encourage you to watch it. This documentary was a huge eye opener for me! It shares about how the plastic waste is polluting the oceans. It’s great to watch it with your family and friends. As a result, it leads me to consciously make small changes that would help the environment. For starters, instead of using a plastic bag, I bring a recycle bag wherever I go. 

Now, of course, it is in a greater mess with the aftermath of Typhoon Hato. There is a beach clean up coming up this Sunday on 10th September. With your help joining in, we can get this beach cleaned up into better condition!!!

BSSM testimony, Words Of Knowledge

Hi everyone,

This is my first post written from Redding, CA. Just by coming under the covering “Umbrella” of Bethel, I’ve started to experience a new work of the Holy Spirit in me. I’ve been moving in the prophetic, but I’ve never received words of knowledge before. He is speaking to me in a new way.

So it’s the first week of BSSM and there are over 1400 students in my class. (I know that is alot of students, I’m still meeting new faces all the time). So I started to quickly receive words of knowledge about people I just met or have never spoken to before in break. This was happening in the hallways, toilets and sitting areas. In like in a split second and Holy Spirit brings be me a word of knowledge about the person in front of me~just like that. I was sharing with individuals what I received. It establishes a connection to my conversation. I understand that each word I receive is like a hidden treasure. This is so exciting and incredible! What an honor that I can do this.

I know that in this season, Holy Spirit is going to speak to me more in words of knowledge. I am going to grow deeper and stronger in this. This was the first time that this has happened to me. I’ve never had my dad join the conversation and bring a deeper revelation and insight. This is so amazing!

Run in Botanical Park Penang

I’m just 3 weeks from moving to America to study at BSSM (Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry.) So excited! I’m taking the time, enjoying the last of Penang. I will surely miss this place!

After Run Selfie

This week my dad and I went for an afternoon run at Botanical Park. My dad is an avid runner and nature lover. He LOVES to run!! We bonded over running, spending some quality time together. ❤️

I had a great time running and thought about running a marathon. This is a really beautiful park, one of a kind. You can spot birds, monkeys, and trees of all sorts. Every time my dad visits this place, he is blown away by the beauty and creation of our God.

 

God is the maker of Heaven and Earth.

Psalm 104:14 “He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth.”

Psalm 8:3-4 “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?”

After our run, we went for fresh-cut fruits. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any so we both had a nice fruit juice. Yummy! Beetroot, carrot, and apple. We sat down and had a nice conversation.

We also met 2 new friends sitting at the table next to us. My dad’s Macau Trailhiker shirt started the friendly conversation. At the back of his shirt, one of the Sponsors is Wynn resort. It so happens that the daughter’s name was also Wynn. We talked about America, uni, flights since she was leaving also to study in America in August. What a friendly conversation.
